Arrasey Plantation

The planting of Arrasey began in 1935, and is mainly made up of Spruce, Pine and Larch. It has a wide track running through it which is popular for mountain bikes. Please remember the Country Code moto: Respect-Protect-Enjoy!

Ballacraine Farm

Next to Ballacraine Farm is an old Public House which was used in George Formby’s “No Limit”. The house is now private. The farm is still a working farm and does Quad Bike Tours and Trail rides though the beautiful Manx countryside.

Ballaugh Glen

Ballaterson Fields, Ballaugh, IM7 5AN

Sitka spruce and Japanese larch make up the majority of the trees in this Glen which can be steep in places.There are also two large ponds at the base of the Glen which attract wildlife.

Brookdale

Main Road, Cooilebane, Sulby, IM7 2HR

Brookdale is in an area of ancient forest land which includes Hazel and Oak. Much of the planation dates back to the early 1970s, with the usual Spruce and Larch. There are several well defined tracks running through the plantation and these are often used by Mountain Bikers.
