The Memorial Hall-Union Mills

The Memorial Hall, in Union Mills, was built in 1903 and commemorates the soldiers of the West Riding Regiment, who died in the Boer War (1899-1902). It was later dedicated by Dalrymple Maitland to his son, John Dalrymple Maitland who was killed in action in 1916.
Available to hire for clubs and children’s parties, by contacting Braddan Commissioners, with facilities that include a small car park nearby, a kitchen to prepare refreshments, tables and chairs, and the hall itself.
