Promenade Methodist Church

Built in the Modernist Style in 1974, to replace the old Loch Parade Church and the Victoria Street Church. The congregation live mainly in Douglas and Onchan but are also those who are visiting the Island on holiday, particularly during the summer. The Church’s Bookshop, run by the Douglas Churches Town Centre Partnership, is at the rear of the building, in Howard Street.

The Church holds regular Sunday morning worship, at 10.30, together with Junior Church.

Loch Promenade hosts Messy Church (on the last Saturday afternoon of every month), from 3.30 to 5.30, Coffee mornings every Saturday, from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon,  A summer Sunday evening concert programme, Coach outings during the summer, and Cafe Lingo every Saturday morning, from 10.15 to 11.45.

The Church supports Citizens Advice, Alcoholics Anonymous, Weight Watchers and Pilates. Rooms in the Promenade are available for hire.
