Marown Old Church-Old St Runius

Garth Road, Cosby, IM4 2HB

Located at the centre of Marown, this church was probably first built in the 12th Century and was added to and extended, in 1754. A simple structure, whitewashed inside, with a bell tower and clear glass windows. Outside steps once led to an upper gallery. The Church and path are lit by candles.

It is believed that three Manx Bishops, Lonnan, Connaghan and Runius are buried in the Churchyard.
