Manx Ices

When I was a child, there was Manx Ices. My favourite was mint on a stick covered in dark chocolate. They used to do factory tours for school children. Then they closed down.

In 2012, a new Manx Ices started in Silverdale Glen, making Award winning luxury ice cream, hand made with milk and cream from local dairy farmers. An 18th century water mill, generates the power for the manufacturing equipment and can be watched, from a viewing gallery.
