Manx Folk Dancing

The Manx Folk Dance Society, was formed in 1951, as part of the Festival of Mann celebrations. Each year, they perform on the Front Green for Tynwald and other festival days, including, Laxey Fair Day, Easter at Rushen Abbey, May Day at Cregneash and on the 6th of January they dance “Hunt the Wren” at the House of Manannan.
