Broadway Baptist Church

Originally a wooden church built in 1893 headed by the Rev. F.T.B. Westlake. The current, very modern building was actually completed in 1905. To celebrate the centenary of its founding the church was refurbished in 1993 and a 100 seater balcony was added and the two adjacent guesthouses were acquired which became the Alpha Centre. The Well Cafe and Bookshop opened in the 1980s and closed in 2012.

The Church hosts and supports the Dof E, Little Acorns, 1st Steps, BIF, The Point, TRIBE, Brownies, Band Practices, Graith, Night Shelter, Stauros and 3S.

Broadway Baptist holds regular church services.
