Ballalough Reedbeds

Owned by Castletown Commissioners, the area consists of two low lying fields, separated by traditional Manx sod banks and hawthorn  hedges, which attract wildlife. The high water table allows reeds to grow which in turn encourage birds, insects and wildflowers.

Dogs must be kept on a lead.
