Tennis is a game played by two or four players, where the players compete on a defined area to hit a ball over a net with the use of rackets. Its origins date back to handball. Tennis is mentioned in Shakespeare’s plays and Henry VIII was a keen player of Real Tennis. Tennis as now played, was first defined in the 1870’s.
Albany Club has over 300 members of all ages.
