440 Squadron (1st Manx) Air Training Corp

The Air Training Corp is part of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets, and offers a military style training for 13 (occasionally 12)  to 17 year olds, in flying and survival skills.

These include organised camps and trips, both here and abroad, together with three flying levels leading to a solo flight. Physical training includes drills, parades, survival and first aid skills combined with outdoor experiences such as canoeing, kayaking, rock climbing and sailing.
