This old and established endurance test began in 1913. It is 85 miles long and completed in 24 hours. The competitors journey through all 17 parishes of the Island passing the churches on route. Starting at the National Sport Centre and finishing at the War Memorial on Douglas Promenade. The full race is open to over 21s only, for those aged 18 to 21 who wish to take part the finishing point is Peel, a distance of 32.5 miles.
The Parishes in order are: Braddan, Marown, Santon, Melew, Arbory, Rushen, Patrick, St German’s, Kirk Micheal, Ballaugh, Jurby, Bride, Andreas, Lezayre, Maughold, Lonan, Onchan.
