The Easter Festival of Running is a three day event over Easter week-end starting on Good Friday. Although technically a race it is equally possible to take part on a non competitive basis. A different race takes place each day in varied locations around the Island. Over 400 competitors take part and the Festival concludes with a prestation and prize giving ceremony together with a party on the final evening.
The first race is a 10k road race around Port Erin and Port St Mary on the evening of Good Friday. Followed by shorter Hill Races around Peel before ending on Douglas Promenade on Easter Sunday.
Friday 7th April – 10k road race – start at 19.00 at Port Erin Promenade
Saturday 8th April – Hill Races – start at 14.15, East Quay Peel
Sunday 9th April – 5k roads races – start at 10.30, Douglas Promenade (near to the Bottleneck Car Park)
