Isle of Man Army Cadet Force-ACF

The Isle of Man Army Cadet Force was formed in 1940 during World War II. There are currently six detachments based around the Island in Douglas, Onchan, Ramsey, Peel, Port Erin and Castletown.
As well as military style training the Cadet Force holds weekend camps most months and two off-island camps a year in Easter and the Summer. The Cadets regularly participate in adventure sports around the Island. There is also the opportunity to gain formal educational qualifications such as BTEC diplomas and even degree-standard training.

Castletown Detachment (ATC Hut, Balthane Industrial Estate, Ballasalla) : Tuesday: 19:00 - 21:00 , Thursday: 18:30-21:15
Peel Detachment (Philip Christian Centre, Derby Road, Peel) : Wednesday: 19:00-2100, Thursday: 18:30-21:15
Ramsey Detachment (ACF Hut, Lezayre Estate, Ramsey) ; Tuesday: 19:00-21:00 , Thursday: 18:30-21:15
