River Fishing

Anglers must hold an Isle of Man Government Other Waters Licence to fish any watercourse on the Island. Access is at the discretion of the landowner and anglers are responsible for ensuring that they do not commit trespass. Please respect ‘No Fishing’ and ‘Private Fishing’ signs.

Fishing is permitted in the:

Dhoo and Glass Rivers- Trout/Salmon

Foxdale River – Trout/Salmon

Glen Maye River – Brown Trout

Groudle River – Brown Trout

Laxey River – Salmon

River Neb – Trout/Salmon

Silverburn River – Sea Trout/some Salmon

Sulby River – Trout/Salmon

and at Glen Helen.
