Manx Basking Shark Watch
The Cetorhinus Maximus or Basking Shark, is the second largest fish in the world (the largest being a Whale Shark) and can grow to over 12 meters.
They swim close to the shore of the Island, sometimes less than 1km away. Good places to spot them are mainly around the Southwest Coast: Fleshwick Bay, Bradda Head, Niarbyl and Spainish Head. It is possible to arrange boat tours to see them.
