Andreas Gliding Club

Andreas Royal Air Force Station was build for use in the Second World War and now is home for the Andreas Gliding Club.

Gliders can travel at speeds of over 100 miles an hour and to heights of 30,000 feet using naturally occurring air currents. It is also a competitive sport with pilots taking part in navigational challenges.
