The Old Fairy Bridge
Fairy Bridge, Kewaigue Hill, Braddan, IM2 1QH
This old stone bridge is considered by many as the real Fairy bridge as it is thought to predate Fairy Bridge. For some reason I always link this with the Fairy Cup of Kirk Malew. A silver Stirrup cup which transported farmers to the Fairy Kingdom, perhaps this is one of the places.
“Moghrey mie Vooinjer Veggey” is Manx for “Good morning little People”. This may be a good place to practice.
If you are interested in Fairies try finding the miniature Fairy Houses located in Glens on the Island or Balley Cashtal Beg, the Fairy Doors in Castletown.
